A major part of the educational program at the SAGE Project is our commercial-scale cropping area. Members are encouraged to learn by doing and adopt-a-bed (or two) to raise crops.
Members are guided and assisted every step of the way, from bed preparation right through to harvest. Not only do members benefit from the hands-on experience of growing food on a market garden scale, they also get to keep 20% of the crop. This can be kept for personal use or perhaps swapped with other Adopters.

Adopt-a-bed and grow something!
The remaining harvest is sold at the local Moruya Markets or to restaurants to raise funds for development of the SAGE Project.
Members report enormous satisfaction with the Adopt-a-bed program and take great pride in their results.
To adopt-a-bed yourself, contact Fraser Bayley or come along to one of our monthly working bees to get involved.
