Observation through Art – Good gardening starts by observing the detail. Imagine spending three hours at the SAGE Garden, taking the time to really observe and notice what’s happening around you, while learning how to draw from one of our esteemed artists.
Join Stuart in this three-hour workshop where you will have fun learning:
- The art of observation through drawing.
- Techniques used to best achieve the desired results.
- Draw with pencil, charcoal, and pastels.
Stuart’s style combines pastels with a clear acrylic medium, allowing him to work on site using large scale canvases. He will deliver a short demonstration of this technique as part of the workshop.
PLEASE BRING – an A3 size sketch book and a charcoal pencil. All other materials supplied.
COST – Only $50 (SAGE Member) – $65 (Non-SAGE Member)
Fee includes all other drawing materials, small canvas and morning tea.
