SAGE Executive Meeting — 10 November, 2010

1. Minutes of previous meeting
The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted by Michael Hulse and seconded by John Bourne.

There were no matters arising.

2. Financial report
There was no financial report due to a problem with Janet’s computer.

3. SAGE Open Day

Program – the Slow Food people will include our program in their ad with the Bay Post
Layout – most of the stalls will be incorporated within the erected poles, and a couple will be along the fence
Food – under the wattle trees and in the open part of the shed
Toilets – just inside top gate facing east
Power – Stuart S will supply most that is needed and there will be a couple of generators on standby (Michael and Penny to supply)
Mowing – Stuart S. to organise with Council to mow street
Seats – Stuart S. to organise with Tubby Harrison
Gifts for presenters – Stuart W. to organise two Rosnay presentation packs
Scarecrows – these could be moved from Riverside Park to SAGE on Sunday – Who to action?
Parking – nothing to do
Advertising – interviews with ABC and 2EARFM next week
SAGE stall – call for helpers and produce, Penny will organise 500 double-sided membership forms from Sapphire Coast for Saturday and Sunday (including question about what prospective members would like to get out of SAGE).

4. Working bee program

  • building wicking beds
  • garden bed maintenance
  • spreading mulch
  • moving baine maries
  • seat over stumps
  • weeding of fence
  • tidy up shed and general clean up
  • crockery distribution.

There being no further business the meeting closed at 6.30 pm.
